Kia ora koutou! The Tupuna Awa Exhibition is now open for a limited season at the Rangiriri Heritage & Cultural Centre. This is a unique opportunity to view the entire Tupuna Awa collection by world renown contemporary Maaori artist - Fred Graham (Ngaati Koroki Kahukura).

This is the first time that this work has been exhibited since the entire collection was purchased by the Waikato River Authority Trust following the 2017 Waikato River Festival - He Piko He Taniwha.

Special thanks to Waikato District Council, Waikato River Authority Trust, Waikato Museum and Ngaati Naho for supporting this project.

See attachment for more details about the exhibition including opening dates and opening hours. This exhibition is only open for a very limited season (10 days) so make the most of this opportunity by stopping in at the Rangiriri Cultural & Heritage Centre to enjoy these extraordinary works.

Enjoy a great coffee and something to eat at the Rangiriri Cafe and learn about the significance of this historic battle site.
