Our relationships with colleagues determine to a great extent how we feel about our jobs and ourselves. Good relationships are the foundation for happiness and success on a personal and team level. People usually get along well with some and not so well with others. It can be challenging to navigate an increasing cultural diversity on top of personality differences. Help your team members by learning to lead the way in successfully connecting and collaborating with diverse team members.

This workshop will provide practical tips and practice for successfully working in diverse teams.
- Understand individual work preferences and strengths
- Recognise the impact of bias and unconscious bias in teams
- Effective communication with people from diverse backgrounds
- Develop cultural intelligence
- Resolve differences in 3 steps
- Be an inclusive leader without a title

Key outcomes will be
- Augmented team performance and well-being
- Positive relationships between diverse team members
- Caring and supportive work environment
- New opportunities for utilizing the full strengths of a diverse team

Participants will leave with an action plan and an offer of individual follow up to support learning transfer.

About the facilitator:
Stefan Doll (CMHRINZ, MBA), Registered Psychologist in Germany, HR and Diversity Consultant & Coach.

Stefan has 20 years of experience as a human resources manager, trainer and consultant in Europe and New Zealand in the FMCG industry, manufacturing, local government and professional services. His degrees in industrial psychology (Germany) and MBA (UK) laid the foundation for many successfully resolved people challenges in a business context. His passion for leadership and thriving organisational cultures resulted in advising the European headquarters of BP on learning and development programmes before he came to New Zealand in 2003.

Stefan is a published author and co-founder of the Diversity Institute. Building on his experience, observations and studies he developed a practical tool to resolve differences between people which is now successfully applied by many of his clients. Good things come out of good relationships on a personal and business level.
