The DSO, in association with the University of Otago and the Otago Daily Times, teams up again with some of Dunedin’s best contemporary musicians to celebrate the unique talent Dunedin produces.

Dunedin Sound greats Martin Phillipps, Shayne Carter and Graeme Downes, versatile operatic singer Anna Leese, Anthonie Tonnon and Nadia Reid whose careers are taking off in spectacular fashion as well as Molly Devine and Metitilani Alo – both Otago University music graduates

This concert will feature yet more Dunedin Sound hits including some of the very popular songs of the previous two Tally Ho! concerts such as “Death and the Maiden”, “Submarine Bells”, “Pink Frost”, “Cactus Cat” and the song now the theme title of these concerts “Tally Ho!”, as well as new hits from Nadia Reid and Anthonie Tonnon. The University’s Music staff are at the helm: Peter Adams will be wielding the conductor’s baton and Graeme Downes is both arranger and performer.

Ticket sales to the public opens on Monday 11 March.
