Waikato Museum

To launch Waikato Museum’s exhibition Shaping Hamilton/Huringa Kirikiriroa this public lecture series looks at how Kirikiriroa / Hamilton has shaped the arts, and how the arts have shaped Kirikiriroa/Hamilton.

Join contemporary artist Dr Tawhanga Nopera (Ngaati Whakaue, Ngaati Waahiao, Tuuhourangi, Ngaati Tarawhai, Ngaati Tuuwharetoa, Ngaati Amaru, Ngaai Taawake) and exhibition curator Dr Nadia Gush, for an artist’s talk about ‘Te Awa', the artwork Nopera created specifically for the exhibition Shaping Hamilton/Huringa Kirikiriroa.
