Early Telepaths present a new suite of paintings by Dunedin-based artist Saskia Leek.

Leek's paintings move between and blend together elements drawn from representational and abstract art; exploring colour, light, brushstrokes, composition, subject-matter and framing devices. Slipping between these different ideas, her work offers a nuanced view into the history of painting, the potential of the process, and its agency in the current moment.
