Meet the team responsible for Pop-up Globe’s spectacular fourth Auckland season in our exclusive pre-show talk series. Featuring a wide range of practitioners, each talk will be focused on both that evening’s performance and their work in general. Relaxed, informal, informative and fun, this is your chance to uncover what really goes into making a production at Pop-up Globe.

Head of Scenic Design Malcolm Dale will talk about the process of designing Hamlet and his vast array of work across four seasons of Pop-up Globe, ranging from radical overhauls of the frons scenae within the playhouse each year down to the logistics of designing and making every single prop and set item seen onstage for every single in-house production. He will discuss the challenges of a role that requires him to be an archaeologist, craftsman and artist in equal measure and how he came to be in such a place.

These intimate pre-show talks are limited to 25 seats only so book early to avoid missing out!

Tickets are GA, $10. Includes a complimentary glass of wine.
