Devonport on Auckland's North Shore will come alive over the weekend of April 5th - 7th 2019 with The 2019 Devonport Arts Festival.

Jonathan Organ + Jessica Pearless of Paragon Matter have curated a special exhibition to showcase outstanding contemporary art by leading New Zealand photographers, painters and sculptors. Included in the show are well-known artists from the local Devonport area and New Zealand wide.

Alongside the exhibition, 'Let's Talk Art' coffee and conversation sessions with local artists will be held at 2pm daily on Saturday and Sunday, where visitors will look at the show, chat about contemporary art and listen to the artists in the show discuss their works.

'We were delighted to be invited to curate a high calibre exhibition of contemporary practice for our home town. The Devonport and wider North Shore community is home to some of New Zealand's most well-known visual art talent, as well as many art collectors and art lovers. The Paragon Matter Pop Up Exhibition offers visitors the chance to enjoy quality visual art amongst The Devonport Arts Festival programme of family friendly performing arts, installation art, live painting, sculpture and much more.'
- Jessica Pearless

The exhibition is free to attend. All artworks will be for sale.

Kindly supported by Glengarry's Devonport, Lupchoo Cold Brew Nitro Coffee, Village Kitchen and The Old Post Office, Devonport
