Our first home game of 2019 is fast approaching!

Come join us for a fun afternoon of roller derby action! The doors open from 1pm and the first whistle blows at 1:30pm! Moana Roller Derby's Salty Rollers will be taking on Team Crazy Legs Aotearoa, which is a group made up of skaters from all over the country skating out in support of invisible illness.

Next up, Moana Roller Derby's Paua Rangers will be taking to the track to play off against the Richter City Convicts all the way from Wellington. First whistle at 4pm. These will be a super fun games, so come along and enjoy the action!

About roller derby:
Roller derby is a contact sport played by two teams of five members roller skating in the same direction (counter-clockwise) around a track. Game play consists of a series of short match ups (jams) in which both teams designate a jammer who scores points by lapping members of the opposing team.

After party and prizegiving from 6pm at Worlds End Bar, Fraser Cove, 229 Fraser Street.
