This event is a weekly drop in class.

Each class consists of a guided meditation and a talk based on Buddhist wisdom. Classes are suitable for everyone. Join in any week, booking is not required.

With Resident Teacher Kelsang Luma. Everyone is welcome.

Meditation for Busy People – week of 28 January to week of 26 February 5 weeks

Do you ever feel that you are too busy to meditate? Learn practical advice on how to integrate meditation into our busy modern life by using our daily experiences as opportunities to develop more positive habits of mind.

31 Jan – Changing our attitude from negative to positive
7 Feb – What is meditation? Analytical and placement meditation
14 Feb – Using Mindfulness and Concentration
21 Feb – Transforming our Daily experiences
28 Feb – Holding Meaningful Objects

Our Amazing Mind – Week of 4 March to week of 25 March 4 weeks.

We can completely change our experience of life by learning how our mind works and using meditation to guide it in a positive direction.

7 Mar – Knowing Your Own Mind: The Key to Happiness
14 Mar – Understanding Emotions: Why Do I Feel this Way?
21 Mar – Our Pure Nature: I am not my Delusions
28 Mar – Harnessing the Power of Positive Intention

What to expect at a class:
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend or to benefit from them. Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk. The classes run for 90 minutes. Anyone can practise meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.

These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
