Our six-week Saturday morning course provides instruction in Buddhist meditation including body awareness, mindfulness of the breath and cultivating kindness towards ourselves and others.

Together these practices help develop relaxed awareness, clarity and compassion.

This course will introduce the essential principles of Buddhist meditation and provide you with the tools needed to work effectively within your meditation practice. We place importance on sitting comfortably and developing a sustainable meditation posture.

As well as teaching you to meditate, each week we will introduce you to some basic principles that will help you understand what Buddhism is about. There will be time to discuss your experience with others and to attend to any questions you might have along the way.

Everything is provided at the course to support your learning. All you need to do is come along in comfortable clothes. You're welcome to arrive from 10:00 am.

Currently no class is planned for Easter Saturday April 20, with the final class on Saturday April 27
