This event is a weekly drop in class.

Each class consists of a guided meditation and a talk based on Buddhist wisdom. Classes are suitable for everyone. Join in any week, booking is not required.

Dealing with Distractions – week of 23 September to week of 30 September 2 weeks

Do you get distracted easily and feel that life is slipping away in meaningless things. Learn how to stay focused and develop a powerful mind.

Stillness within: Concentration – week of 7 October to week of 28 October 4 weeks

When the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within. Learn techniques to develop and improve your concentration.

9 Oct – A silent mind
16 Oct – Mindfulness
23 Oct – Enhancing mindfulness
30 Oct – Concentration in our daily life

What to expect at a class:
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend or to benefit from them. Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk.

The classes run for 90 minutes. Anyone can practice meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.

These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
