A night of Polish, Irish and Scottish music, dances and dancing. No Partners or experience required, all welcome – and no high heels

A group of Canterbury’s most talented folk musicians bring a night of lively entertainment to Akaroa with music, dancing and high spirits all round. A mix of traditional Polish, Irish and Scottish music will make for an evening with plenty of high-energy fiddle-playing and fast-fingered guitar-plucking, along with the magic of the Irish whistle and the beat of the bodhrán. Christchurch group Polonus will impress as they expertly perform a variety of Polish folk dances. Come to listen, watch, tap your toes or join in the dancing—no partners or experience required! (But please leave your high heels at home.)
