Get involved in the campaign to protect Ihumātao and return the land to mana whenua. We're acting in solidarity here in Pōneke.

Whether you've been involved already or just keen to jump in now, please come along. Kōrero about how to tautoko/support the occupation at Ihumātao from here in Wellington.

The SOUL (Save Our Unique Landscape) whānau have been fighting to #ProtectIhumātao for over three years, and well over 20,000 people signed the petition to save this whenua.

Despite massive public support and recognition of mana whenua's relationship to this land - they continue to be under threat of eviction.

This hui will focus on:
- Eviction Response at the occupation
- Eviction Response in Pōneke
- Non-Violent Direct Action training for those intending to visit the land
- Legal training for those intending on participating in anything
- Emotional check list and care
- How to be an ally discussions - sharing tikanga and kawa of mana whenua
- Ideas for how to hold the occupation and prevent eviction.

SOUL Solidarity Pōneke is a Wellington-based network who support the SOUL campaign at Ihumātao.
