Learn the foundations of Hoop Dance!

Connect to your inner child, improve well-being and fitness while learning fancy hoop tricks to create your own flow.

An absolute beginners course, no previous dance or hoop experience required. Accessible to all ages, body types and fitness levels.

We'll turn up the music, learn at least three new moves per class plus time for creative expression and play!

The aim of this workshop is to introduce you to the benefits of hoop dance and a foundation of skills to build on.

What are the benefits?
1. A full body workout
2. Great for strengthening the core
3. Releases endorphins
4. Burn 400 calories per hour
5. Builds confidence
6. Improves coordination and flexibility
7. Connect your mind and body
8. Have fun and meet new people!

Who will be teaching me?
Hannah will be guiding you through the workshop, she has been hooping every day for one year and has a passion for teaching and self expression.

What are the dates of the classes?
15th June,
22nd June
29th June
6th July
13th July
20th July

What should I wear?
It's best to wear to a singlet and shorts as the hoop will need to grip to your skin. But above all we want you to feel comfortable and have a brilliant time!

Do I need my own hoop?
It's recommended that you practise in between classes so having your own hoop is a good idea. While you wait for your hoop to arrive you're more than welcome to borrow one of mine. If you need help choosing your first hoop then please contact me through Facebook, I'm happy to advise (Hoop Dance Wellington)

Do you run kids classes?
I will be running a kids class in the spring/summer so watch this space.
