Learn some new moves from one of New Zealand's top hip hop dancers! This class provides a structured method of learning hip hop dance movement in a fun-filled and social environment.

The class is taken at a relaxed pace, concentrating on improving co-ordination and learning choreographed dance sequences while grooving to some great music.

"I love Richie's teaching style and sense of humour."

Teaching artist Richie Cesan is a director of the BoyzDance2 company and a member of the popular Identity Dance Crew. He has been dancing since he was 5-years-old and has studied ballet, tap jazz, contemporary and hip hop (completing major exams in jazz and tap).

Richie has a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance and co-founded TMC Dance Crew, which represented NZ at the World Hip Hop Champs in 2007 and 2009. Richie is a winner and triple nominee for the TEMPO Dance Festival Young Choreographer of the Year and a foundation choreographer for the successful ‘Out of the Box’ production which has featured at TEMPO.
