Resistance and defiance were often hidden in the artistic work of Jewish musicians imprisoned in Terezín, the Nazi ghetto/camp in Czechoslovakia.

Hear compelling stories about this form of defiance from Dr. Laurence Sherr, an internationally recognized Holocaust music lecturer, composer, and educator. Dr. Sherr's presentation will include musical examples, eyewitness video clips from his survivor interviews, archival materials, and his onsite photo documentation.
