Furs Got Talent Calling all singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, mimes, hula hoopers, and batten twirlers – your talent could win you 1,000 dollars cold, hard cash. The Three Furlongs Bar & Grill is bringing the worldwide phenomenon to Kaiwaka and registration for audition day is now open.

No entrant rules – Any age, any solo and any group with a talent to showcase will be accepted to audition... come and give it a go! We are looking for 10 acts to progress to the live show in late August.

- Grand Prize: $1000 cash
- Runner-up: $250 cash

- Auditions: Sunday 4th August 2019 from 12pm till late.
- Semi - Final: Saturday August 24th 2019
- Grand Final: Saturday August 31st 2019

The final will be judged by Toast (Breakfast radio host for MoreFM Northland), Mike Lindsay (Auckland’s leading Magician & Illusionist) and local talent scout and teacher, Maria Paikea. Hosted by ‘Mangawhai Karaoke’ duo, Jonathan and Pam - www.mangawhaikaraoke.nz

- Head to our website www.threefurlongs.co.nz and look for the ‘Furs Got Talent’ page. Fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page and send – its that easy! We will be in contact shortly after receiving your application to confirm an audition time with you. Applications close at 11.59pm on Saturday 03/08/19. If you are unable to audition on this date, we will arrange a date to suit you.

Please note: Entrants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Registration/entry is free and open to any age. Applicants will be contacted after registration to book an audition time that suits them. The acts moving onto the live show will be notified by phone during the week ending 11/08/19. Performance length must not exceed 15 minutes.

The audition process and semi-final will be judged by our in-house judges. We will supply a PA system including speakers, mic and music track ports. All other props must be supplied by you. No explicit content/lyrics, costumes, etc will be allowed. No weaponry, motorized vechiles, fire, sharp objects, or any other dangerous act will be permitted. The judges decision is final.
