If you ever want to ignite your passion for food - take a trip to Italy! The words of Celebrity Chef Simon Gault.

Simon has teamed up with Shane Yardley (former protege who worked with Simon at FISH and popular Auckland Italian establishment Filice for many years), to share their love of Italian cuisine through a 5-course Italian menu for two nights only, at Giraffe this July 10 & 11!

When Shane Yardley first visited Italy he was inspired by the Florence food markets. The products that are available lend themselves to producing wonderfully simple, product-driven food that is governed by the seasons. In fact, that is the way it is done in Italy.

Being lucky enough to have access to Italian product and being able to marry them with great New Zealand produce will make for great food, that coupled with fine wine and good company will make for a great evening.

Join Celebrity Chef Simon Gault and guest chef Shane Yardley for a five-course culinary journey through the markets of Florence, accompanied by award-winning JK14 wines.

John Kirwan is also passionate about all things Italian, especially wine which he enjoys sharing through his JK14 Italian wines. We have partnered with JK14 to offer wines perfectly paired with each course.

Shane's last pop-up dinner 'Hunter Gather' sold out in 2 days, don't miss out on this one off dining experience, book your tickets now!
