Public talk about the eradication and invasive control of the Raccoon dog.

Raccoon dogs are escaped farmed fur bearing Asiatic dogs. The plan to eradicate raccoon dogs began a decade ago, when they were first spotted in the far north of Sweden. Now the animals are hunted to reduce the threat to biodiversity. Per-Arne Ahlen leads Sweden’s eradication project and his presentation will cover the eradication and ongoing invasive interdiction.
