The Pointon Collection of Cars & Costume celebrates "Art Deco" with a new display of original clothing. By showing 1920's & 1960's women's clothes together we see similarities in styles and cut. Although made of totally different fabrics, we can even compare bathing suits!

From the "little black dress" to wedding gowns, from blouse & skirt to winter dress, we see where many fashion ideas have come from. Even shoes styles have similarities.

Come & visit the collection and see what you think. The gorgeous old cars from the 1920's were still being regularly driven in the 1960's, so check them out too.

The Pointon Collection of Cars & Costume is open most days from 10am to 4pm - ring Gaye 06 3786710 to check. Charges do apply - no EFTPOS.

This display continues until Sunday April 28th.
