101 Ways with Wool Event is an Expo showcasing 100% natural wool, arranged by Marlborough Provincial Rural Women NZ with assistance from Farmers, Shearers and Woolclassers, the Fibre Guild and lots of others Friday and Saturday will display everything from sheep to fleece, shearing to spinning and weaving down to the finished garments.

Thursday afternoon the Creative Fibre Guild and RWNZ will show people how to spin, weave, knit, felt and crochet etc.

A school art competition will be run and adults are invited to take part with a sculpture or art piece to display at the show grounds. Businesses in town are invited to dress their windows for a competition based around wool and wool products. Manufacturers of wool products are being invited.

Entertainment will include a bouncy castle for the children and competitions to do with wool. Food stalls will keep everyone fed.

Some of the Companies Coming are: Maniototo Wool Ltd, Waione Saddle Blankets and more, Carpet Court, Cinnamon House, Shear Warmth, NZ Wool Scouring, Monster Merino and more

Amongst the display of sheep breeds will be some Swiss Blacknose Valais sheep and Pitt Island Sheep as well as the more usual breeds.

There is a Fashion design competition for garments which will be on parade at the "shedwalk" on Saturday afternoon.

The Movie "She Shears" will be shown twice on Friday and twice on Saturday - $5 entry fee.
Please bring cash on the day. Entry is free.
