The Regent Theatre will screen Mel Brook’s satirical masterwork “Young Frankenstein” on Halloween to benefit the Dunedin Wildlife Hospital. This comic twist on the Frankenstein story starring Gene Wilder, Madeline Kahn, Marty Feldman and Terri Garr is filled with one-liners and sight gags that have become comic classics.

If you have never seen the film, then you are in for a laugh-out-loud treat and if you have seen it, then you will be eagerly anticipating your favourite moments. Either way, it will be an evening filled with grins, giggles and the occasional groan. There will be spot prizes for costumes as well as raffles with a range of great prizes.

Grab some friends to join the laughter and the fun while helping support the wonderful work being done at the Dunedin Wildlife Hospital. Tickets available from the box office at The Regent Theatre ($20 for adults, $15 for students). The doors open at 6:30pm for open seating.

The black and white film is rated PG. Major funding sponsored by Castle Trustees.
