Totara Park, 90 Wairere Road, Manurewa

All Ages

XRACE is a family mystery adventure race where family teams (made up of one parent and one child, aged 6-14 years old) race together. Teams must locate and complete 10 mystery challenges, racing the clock and all the other family teams with the fastest and luckiest crowned XRACE champion. Join in on the family event of the summer at your local NZHL XRace - pick from 12 different locations and dates!

*There is also a Devonport XRACE on 24 February - many Auckland families choose to race in both.

The challenges located around the racecourse range from physical - like tug-of-war, to mental - like a memory challenge, to knowledge-based - like a music challenge. Our challenges are where we deliver the magic - they are all designed to strengthen family bonds and deliver bucket loads of self-esteem to our kids.

Your Race, Your Pace:
Families of a wide variety of physical fitness and ability enjoy NZHL XRACES. Some teams go from the gun and try and chase out an age-group trophy or even the overall win. The majority of families are at XRACE to enjoy the family experience of being outdoors and completing an awesome adventure together as a family. XRACE is the perfect training goal for your family to run or walk 3-4KM; for many families, XRACE is a huge source of motivation and ultimately, of pride, to train, race and finish together.

Mini XRACE for the Nippers
*There will also be a mini XRACE called Nippers for the younger siblings that are 3-6 years old. Nippers will kick off 30 minutes before the main XRACE start- see website for more information!

Experience an unforgettable day out with your family: register your family team for your local XRACE!
