This is a great opportunity to escape the interruptions of home and spend a whole weekend just writing. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced writer, this weekend is for you.

Maybe you are starting to write your family history, a novel, or an inspirational work, whatever genre, come and immerse yourself.

Writing tutor, Joan Rosier-Jones, will be there to offer personal guidance with your writing on a one-to-one basis and to discuss any writing difficulties you might have. You will also have the chance to share with fellow writers.

The setting is a quiet retreat centre, with beautiful gardens in Epsom. Accommodation available at extra cost. Tea/coffee, morning & afternoon tea, lunch incl.

Joan Rosier-Jones is a novelist whose works include Cast Two Shadows, Yes and Waiting for Elizabeth. In 2009 her first non-fiction narrative, The Murder of Chow Yat, was published. She began her working life as a school teacher and has been teaching creative writing to adults for 25 years in New Zealand and Australia and is the author of So You Want to Write and Writing Your Family History.

Joan is also active in the New Zealand Society of Authors, being a past National President. Many of her students have gone on to writing success.
