Inflammatory diet patterns high in unhealthy fats and processed foods can contribute to impaired memory and learning, as well as increase your risk of diseases such as Alzheimer's and dementia.

This first event in a series of 3 we present the facts on inflammation - what is it, how do you know you have it? what does it affect?

Come along and learn how to cook easy, nutritious and delicious homemade meals and snacks to reduce inflammation and improve your brain function.

We will talk about food, use recipe books, show you how to put the ingredients together and produce a range of tasty healthy food options and you get to taste them right there and then. What could be better?

You will be hosted by;
Author & Functional nutrition consultant - Jocelyn J Murray - who brings recipes and food to life. Passionate about people being well and learning to rid themselves of the ailments that limits their life enjoyment - Jocelyn wrote and compiled ‘my wellness journal’ an interactive book that helps make health a reality through recipes, food ideas and growing tips.

Thermomix consultant - Kathryn Jansen from The Vegery, manufacturer of Vitality wraps - mixes it up and lets us sample the deliciousness. Kathryn, contributed to ‘my wellness journal’. Kathryn will invite you to have your own - home cooking Thermomix experience.

Special guests;
Cyndi O’Meara - is joining us (via zoom) for a short time to share some of her information gem’s about the brain and what powers it.
Cyndi is passionate about educating. Her unique and down-to-earth approach challenges and encourage others to eliminate unhealthy habits.
Cyndi, nutritionist, author, filmmaker, is included in the Australian Financial Review and Westpac 100 Women of Influence Awards for 2016, 2016 Australian Organic Retailer of the Year Finalist and within Queensland, Australia, received the Sunshine Coast Sustainable Business Woman of the Year 2016 and Finalist for the Sunshine Coast Business Awards.

MinetteTinoli will join us bringing her vast knowledge on plants and herbs. Minette is from MeadowSweet Herbs and Flowers - a home business based in Stanmore Bay.

Minette is an earth mother and herb fanatic striving to become more self-sufficient in her urban backyard. She loves sharing her experiences and knowledge gained over 12 years growing and using plants for food and medicine.

Minette aims to provide a place of excitement and inspiration in learning more about soulful gardening for your good food and good health.
