Whitehaven Wines and The Vines Village present the first in a series of Outdoor Movies!

Wine Industry Night:
Set in a the spacious tranquil grounds of The Vines Village at 193 Rapaura Rd, Marlborough, the wine industry classic 'Bottleshock' will be shown on the big outdoor screen. Relax in style after the Framingham Harvest Concert (Fri March 9th) and the Renwick Harvest Party (during the day on Sat Mar 10th).

'Bottle Shock is a 2008 American comedy-drama film based on the 1976 wine competition termed the "Judgment of Paris", when California wine defeated French wine in a blind taste test. Paris-based wine expert Steven Spurrier heads to California in search of cheap wine that he can use for a blind taste test in the French capital.

Stumbling upon the Napa Valley, the stuck-up Englishman is shocked to discover a winery turning out top-notch chardonnay. Determined to make a name for himself, he sets about getting the wine back to Paris. It stars Alan Rickman, Chris Pine, and Bill Pullman and is a cult wine movie for lovers of wine!'

Gates open at 6pm, movie starts at 8pm(ish).
No BYO sorry, wine, craft beer, platters and gourmet BBQ will all be available.
Tickets include a glass of the Whitehaven wine of your choice.

Bring a low chair, bean bag, sleeping bag. Strictly R18 (no kids).

Wineries are able to buy group tickets via Karen in the Vines Village office at admin@thevinesvillage.co.nz.
