The WISE Collective run regular ethnic food stalls at markets, festivals and events across Auckland. They help support refugee women utilize existing skills to generate income for their families and work towards empowerment through self-sufficiency.

More than 800 women, from 18 different countries, have engaged with The WISE Collective since its inception.

To celebrate 125 years of women’s suffrage, and to mark the final days of Wāhine Take Action, Central City Library is hosting The WISE Collective Project on Saturday 10 November from 11am-3pm.

Please join us for a food stall, including delicious culinary delights from Burma and the Middle East, and a series of cultural performances by younger WISE members from a variety a different backgrounds.
