Join speakers Justine Shera, Michelle Matangi and Zara Brouwers in a conversation about women’s wellness, health & balance. With a combined weight loss of 60kgs, Justine & Michelle will share with you their philosophy on nutrition, mindfulness, sustainability and creating balance while Zara will share tips on how to live consciously and practice relaxation. This will be an open conversation where we encourage you to participate and ask questions.

Following our speaker conversation, we invite you to stay & relax in the glorious calm of The Virtue and enjoy some delicious, nutritious food supplied by The Public Catering Company & The Cake Diary. There will also be drinks supplied by Hello Audrey & The Clean Collective.

Our Speakers:
Justine is a mother, wife, professional & small business owner. After reaching rock bottom in her wellness and headspace in April last year, Justine changed her life and has lost 32ks to date by adopting a sustainable, whole foods approach. She was able to change her mindset on nutrition and health and started her blog, My Balance Project, to allow others to share in her journey every step of the way. Justine will be speaking about her life-changing journey, nutrition, creating balance and the art of being kind to yourself.

Michelle is a wife, business owner, podcaster and has been blogging about her health journey for the past 9 years. She has documented her entire weight loss journey, which began in 2009 after being made redundant. She managed to not only lose 40kgs but also started her own clothing alterations business at the same time. She has maintained a 30kg loss for over 8 years, along the way learning many lessons and has found a place of balance focusing on intuitive eating and a mostly whole foods approach.

Zara is a yoga instructor and mentor at The Wellness Project in New Plymouth. Her style of teaching is centred around functional movement, mindfulness and deep relaxation. After attending one of her classes, Justine has invited Zara to speak at The Balance Project because of her mind/body connection.
