In 2019 New Zealand will mark 250 years since the first land meetings between Māori and Europeans, with the visit of James Cook and the Endeavour in 1769.

Te Hiringa Business Promotions are assisting whānau-hapū-iwi, communities, organisations, and businesses on how to showcase themselves during national and regional 250 commemorations "Tuia 250".

Working with Te Au Marie 1769 Sesquicentennial Trust these hui will cover:
- What the Tuia 250 programme is
- How to become involved and participate
- Where to seek support
- How to access resources for your projects or events

Nāku te rourou nau te rourou ka ora ai te iwi.
With your basket and my basket the people will live.
