Ever wanted to make your very own Summer Tote Bag?

Here is your chance! Using vintage sewing machines and upcycled materials, Papakura Museum will be running tote bag-making workshops over December 2018 and January 2019 with the lovely Gracie Matthews.

Gracie is an experienced seamstress and owner of Clevedon Costumes and Vintage Apparel. She has been in the business since 1984, and runs sewing workshops around Auckland - most recently at the Very Vintage Day Out!

Materials are provided, all skill levels welcome. Suitable for ages 8+.

The cost of the programme is $10.00 per person, and there is a maximum of 10 participants per session.

Bookings are essential, so please phone (09) 298 2003 or email education@papakuramuseum.org.nz to secure your spot. Payment will be taken on the day of the workshop - please be aware that we don't have EFTPOS facilities, so cash only.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please be aware we are closed from Saturday 22nd December for the Christmas Holidays, and re-open on Monday 7th January 2019.
