If you’re passionate, determined and ready to do some good in the world then listen up!

Whatever cause you want to fight for, whatever change you want to make, you need to know how to stand up, capture audiences and get your messages listened to.

That’s where this workshop comes in. Fiery, funny feminist-y Stuff columnist, TV presenter and media personality Verity Johnson is an expert in putting her opinions out there and getting them listened to. In this exclusive one off jam packed workshop, she’ll be teaching all future change makers how to craft their social messages for change, how to tell these stories across digital, social, and traditional platforms and how to actually get listened to!

This 2.5 hour workshop will cover:
- How to hone your messages to grab people’s attention
- How to build those brilliant social media campaigns to gain a following and traction
- How to use your skills as a digital native to get your cause noticed on TV and print media
- How to get people pumped up and passionate with your social good storytelling

Presented in collaboration with Auckland Young Feminists, YWCA Auckland, and Central City Library - this is a call out for passionate, fiery young people who want to do some good in the world. Get together, get smart, and get cracking on changing society one snapchat at a time.
