This event is part of Conservation Week 2018 - conservationweek.org.nz.

The Eco Fest in Invercargill is promoting sustainable living, with the theme of "Climate Change - You can make the difference". Displays of goods and services, environmental resources and information on protecting the environment, plants, healthy food options. Exhibitors and workshops.

About 40 stalls and activities to intrigue and entice you in to environmental action along with children’s fun activities e.g. predator free, children’s wooden toys, flax creations, vegetables, plants, grafting...

Workshops:
*10.30 - 12.30pm and 1pm - 3pm ‘Our Climate Declaration’ 2 hours - practical aspects of how we can take actions locally and in community, along with 11 - 11.30am *how to make bees’-wax wraps, 11.30am - 12*rag rugs, 12- 1pm*growing herbs to make teas, 1 - 1.30pm *soil & carbon, 1.30- 2.30pm *bees.
