This talk, funded by Eastern & Central Community Trust and open to the public, explores the role of the soundtrack in a feature film.

Because film is thought of as a primarily visual medium, it's easy to overlook the integral role of sound in on-screen story telling. This talk covers one of the unseen elements of film and examines the world of sound within film.

Speaker: Graham Slater (Retired Lecturer in Media Studies, Massey University)

Gold coin for tea/coffee and biscuits.

All Saints Community Centre is at the rear of All Saints Church, next to Square Edge, just off the Square. There is parking alongside the driveway, and in the row immediately behind the building.
