Your relationship with your sewing machine just beginning, or needing some revitalization?

This is an introductory, 3 session course on the basics of sewing on a domestic sewing machine. You will learn how to set up a machine, use different stitches and feet, basic care, maintenance and trouble-shooting.

Once the basics are mastered, you'll get the opportunity to try out different seam types and simple construction to make your own simple project (such as a cushion or tote bag).

Two time options available: Wednesday mornings, 10am-12pm starting 17th October, continuing on the 24th and 31st, or Thursday evenings, 6-8pm starting 18th October, continuing on the 25th Oct and 1st Nov.

BYO sewing machine or use one of ours.

Registration is essential, as class size is limited to allow time and space for all participants (Max 6). Payment can be made at the first class (cash only), or via online banking. Details on request.

Lead by highly experienced Stitch Kitchen tutor: Fiona Jenkin.
