Mindfulness: an antidote to stinking thinking and addictions.

We Are What We Think, dominates everything we do. Our thoughts impact ourselves and others often causing disharmony in the home, at work, and in our social lives. With mindfulness it’s possible to be rid of our 'Stinking Thinking' and to have Thoughts without a Stinker.

Dr Mason-John, inspirational speaker and outspoken advocate for the rights of women, indigenous people and the LGBTQI2S community, speaks candidly about her past. Raised in foster homes, living on the streets by 14 and locked up in a children’s detention centre at 15, she has battled with chronic bulimia nervosa and recreational drug use, what she calls a hell realm of addiction.

Discovering mindfulness meditation, she turned her life around. Currently she is a consultant in Conflict Transformation, Restorative Justice, and Anti-Bullying; she works in education, with the police and in the corporate world.

Entry by donation/koha.
