Profiteering, Patriotism and Peril: lesser known stories of the Great War.

Join us at The Great War Exhibition to hear three talks on the lesser known New Zealand experiences of the First World War.

Presented by staff and volunteers of The Great War Exhibition, talks will include tales of fanatical patriotism that gripped New Zealand from the outset of war, thrilling tales of the medieval walls of Le Quesnoy, and the stories of those who used the tragedy of war as a way to grow their personal fortune.

Supported by the Museum and Heritage Studies programme at Victoria University of Wellington, this event is free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis with the first talk commencing at 6:30pm.

Booking is requested through the link above or contact info@greatwarexhibition.nz.

Admission to the event is free of charge.
