Artist collective Public Share invite Wellingtonians to join them for a tea break in Civic Square to celebrate the anniversary of New Zealand women casting votes for the first time.

The collective creates ceramic objects for use in public tea breaks. For this event, Public Share have made stirrers from clay collected from two sites where key suffragists, Kate Sheppard and Meri Te Tai Mangakāhia were living during the period they were leading the fight for suffrage in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Come along for a cuppa and conversation and take away a commemorative stirrer.
