The New Zealand School of Music - Te Kōkī, is pleased to present 'Music From Her' to celebrate, support and encourage diverse voices of women working in music in New Zealand, in the year of the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in New Zealand.

In this day of panel discussions on gender issues in music, women composers, performers and scholars in music in Aotearoa will come together to explore, celebrate and share their musical identities and histories.

Recognising that feminist approaches to socially inclusive practices are amongst the most powerful, this event aims to open up broader inclusion and intersection-focused social exchange around music.

Presentations on women and music in New Zealand 1-2PM
Kōrero/forum - an audience kōrero with Sally Jane Norman and Elizabeth Kerr 3–4PM
