This event is a weekly drop in class.

Each class consists of a guided meditation and a talk based on Buddhist wisdom. Classes are suitable for everyone. Join in any week, booking is not required.

The Art of Positive Thinking - week of 29 January to week of 26 February 5 weeks:
Negative thinking can become a strong habit of mind which is difficult to overcome. Learn methods to replace even our most stubborn habits with profoundly beneficial ways of thinking that lead only to peace and happiness.

Life Changing Meditations - week of 5 March to week of 26 March 4 weeks:
In this series of classes we will establish the foundation of Buddhist philosophy and learn new ways of thinking that radically change who we are and how we respond to life’s challenges.

Five Habits of Happy People - week of 2 April to week of 30 April 5 weeks:
We all have habits that seem hard to break. Unfortunately, many of these habits also make us unhappy or even harm our health. Even though we try very hard, sometimes we feel helpless to change. Through practicing Buddha’s teachings, we can gain confidence in our potential to change. We can then replace even our most stubborn habits with profoundly beneficial ways of thinking that lead only to peace and happiness.

What to expect at a class:
These classes are based on Buddha’s teachings on the mind, but you do not need to be a Buddhist to attend or to benefit from them. Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk. The classes run for 90 minutes. Anyone can practise meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. There is no physical exercise involved and you can choose to sit either in a chair or on a cushion.

These classes are suitable for all levels of experience.
