Mitchell Studios

Mitchell Studios is proud to present a new exhibition showcasing the work of New Zealand artist Leonard Victor Mitchell, including original designs for the Lower Hutt War Memorial Library murals, on display for the first time since the 1950s.

Following on from our successful exhibition earlier this year - Leonard Victor Mitchell: A Fine Art Exhibition - Mitchell Studios is now a permanent fine art gallery and creative agency in the Wellington suburb of Khandallah.

This exhibition includes original oil and watercolour paintings, most of which are available for sale, and limited edition reproduction art prints.

A new book profiling Leonard Victor Mitchell and his father, Leonard Cornwall Mitchell (commercial artist, illustrator and stamp designer), is also available for purchase from the gallery. 'Mitchell & Mitchell: A Father & Son Arts Legacy' was published this year by Potton & Burton and produced by Peter Alsop, Anna Reed & Richard Wolfe.

Open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 3.30pm and Saturdays 10am to 2pm.
