Get creating and make yourself a substantial and re-useable lantern for this year's Lantern Celebration. Expert tutors, Faye and Karl Wulff, will guide you through the process using cane, material and paint. The workshop is limited to ten people, so you are sure to have the help you need as you craft your masterpiece. The workshops this year are different to previous years. The lanterns will be larger, the workshop groups smaller and the amount of time spent in the creative space has been extended too.

About the tutors:
Faye Wulff has been running Community Art Works for more than 18 years. She is primarily a textile artist and is renown for her exquisite costumes and masks. She has been running the hugely popular lantern-making workshops for around 10 years now. She has contributed an admirable amount to the Nelson community over the years and these workshops are one of the ways that CAW continues to do this.

Karl Wulff is a multi-media artist. He has been working in this field for over 20 years. He is also widely known for his mask-making abilities. He has been working at CAW for many years, running workshops and assisting in the creative space. Karl is also an accomplished fire and roving character performer. Karl has been instrumental in the redesign of the workshop format for this year and is looking forward to sharing some new designs with participants.

For more information, get in touch with CAW via their Facebook Page or drop in and visit them at 80 Archilles Ave.
