King Country Christmas 2018 - Saturday 15th December @ Taumarunui Domain from 5pm.

Join us for the 2nd annual Christmas in the Park a free family event for the local communities so be sure to come down and enjoy the fun.

The carnival will kick off from around 5pm with lots of things for the kids to do including a 22mt long 3-laned inflated obstacle course which the organisers are sure will be a massive hit. Face painting, Fire Engine & Police Car rides, Bouncy Castles, Tug-of-War competition, Lollie scrambles, Swing Ball Zone and lots more.

At 6:30 the concert will kick off on the new stage for this year that is being constructed down on the domain field. There is a load of local talent that will be performing across all genres including bands, dance acts, kapa haka and of course the Carols by Candlelight segment before a spectacular fireworks display finishes the night off.

There is parking available all around the domain and the council have also allowed the use of their carpark on Taumarunui St. Also, there will be disabled parking available at the entrance to the grandstand for those who require this.

There will also be a whole pile of giveaways to be given out during the concert including New World grocery vouchers, Christmas Hams and heaps more.

There will be plenty of hot food, ice creams & coffee available for sale from the extra food stalls available this year but bring down a family picnic, a camp chair to sit on or a blanket, find yourself a spot for the family & get ready to celebrate Christmas together as a community King Country Style!
