Kapiti Wood Workers Guild (KWWG) is a group of people interested in Wood working of types. We have monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of the month with interesting speakers and demonstrations of items f interest to wood workers from carving, wood turning, furniture making, etc.

We are active in the community with the group making wig stands for the Wellington Cancer Society, Wooden bowls filled with sweets for Mary Potter Hospice and Horowhenua Cancer Society. We also help out those from the community who have special wood working needs making specialty items.

The group have several demonstrations at public events throughout the year at which members can sell their artistic and utility items they make. Members are very friendly and are willing to assist others freely with their knowledge and help.
