Create a form in clay and from it, create a mould in which to cast your glass. Your tutor will explain what shapes are appropriate for this method.

This workshop will run over 2 Saturdays. Gaffer glass will be used, and Luke Dunstan will be the tutor (supported by Evelyn).

Feb 10th (6 hours approx.)
Make a clay design, prepare refractory and create negative mould, select glass.
(Glass will be fired between sessions)

Feb 24th (approx. 3 hours)
Break away refractory to discover your piece. Clean and cold working options. We will demonstrate the options and materials and students will start cold working their own pieces - to be completed at home.
