Harris is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist musician Harris Mackenzie Boock. His debut LP Bed Bugs (2017) explores depression, altered states, and existentialism, through a scope of Experimental Alt-Rock and Neo-Psychedelia. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Harris, the result is a “beautifully recorded” album of “catchy and whimsical guitar pop” (undertheradar).

Performing as a three-piece band with Mathew Watkins (of St. Bartholomew), and Marie Dutilloy, the hypnagogic dreamscapes of Bed Bugs are stripped down to their raw elements, and the songs take on a new chemistry.

The trio has spent the year of 2018 looking inward, deep into their hearts and minds, searching the frequency spectrum to create new sounds. This show will be the amongst the first to include material featured on Harris' next release.

Spacey is a brand new Jangle-Pop trio, fronted by Jasper Holloway, with Phoebe Johnson, and James Feeks. Straight out of Wellington's Jazz School - they bring a new, technical wizardry to old-school rock n roll. Spacey's songs are potent with post-punk energy, wonderful vocal harmonies, and high-calibre shredding.

St. Bartholomew is the solo project of songsmith Mathew Watkins. His debut, Flayed Man EP (2017), is a gorgeous and cathartic release of minimalist, lo-fi, alternative folk-rock. In 2018, Watkins shared the track 'Scars', featured in Wellington's Mimicry Journal Mixtape, and has built a new collection of songs, which illustrate a maturing artist, pushing himself into new territory.

Doors - 8pm.
