Hangar 18 originally formed in early 1996 and went onto achieve international success touring
with some of the biggest bands in the world at the time, including, No Doubt - Gwen Stefani,
Collective Soul, Silverchair, Ocean Colour Scene, Grace Jones and many more with the pinnacle of
success coming in 1997 when Hangar 18 performed at the inaugural official music ceremony “The
Unity Handover Festival” which saw the return of British ruled Hong Kong to the Chinese. The
concert featured international acts from all over the world and saw Hangar 18 perform live to a
stadium audience of 10,000 people whilst being simulcast on TV to over 900 million viewers around
the globe.

From 1999 to 2017 the band were on hiatus. Hangar 18 have undergone several lineup changes in
their career, drummer Paul Marshall and bassist Andrew Featherstone are the longest remaining
members of the band, having been involved with Hangar 18 since its inception. In 2017 Paul
Marshall reformed the band after a successful career as a record label owner and international tour
promoter. The current lineup of Hangar 18 consists of Tim Allen (Vocals/Guitar), Shaun Maclean
(Guitar/BVs), Andrew Featherstone (Bass/BVs) and Paul Marshall (Drummer).

Music Producer: HANGAR 18 have just completed the recording of their new album (yet to be
titled) with UK producer Steve James, (engineer and producer for Thin Lizy, Shirley Bassey, The
Sex Pistols, The Jam, Toyah Wilcox, The Screaming Jets, Paul Young, Hawkwind, Mental as
Anything, Airbourne, Kiki Dee and many more) Steve is the son of famous UK comedian Sid James
from the “Carry On” series of films. The album features the keyboarding skills of the legendary
Eddie Raynor (Split Enz, Crowded House).

First Single: Hangar 18 wrote their first single “IDKY” with Jason Kerrison (Opshop 4x
platinum selling band) this track was released on DOITRecords/ SUGO with the accompanying
music video gaining over 100,000 views on Youtube.

Asia Tours: Hangar 18 embarked on an Asia tour in March 2018 which saw the band
travelling and performing in the Philippines, Hong Kong and China. In addition the band shall
once again tour Asia and perform in the Philippines, Hong Kong & Singapore as well as a
performance at the international music convention in Singapore Music Matters. The band are also
in the running to perform support to US band Paramore with their major arena shows in
Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia.

Record Deal: As a direct result of their Asian tour Hangar 18 have been signed directly to
Universal Music Group MCA in the Philippines on an Asian wide deal which sees the band released
and promoted in over 15 countries, including The Philippines, India, China, Hong Kong, Thailand
in turn exposing the band to a potentially massive audience of over 2.5 billion people. The band are
due back in Asia for the release and promotion of their sophomore single Rainy Day later in 2018.
Along with the record deal the band also managed to secure a major publishing deal.
