This event is presented by Greening the Rubble & Kairos Free Store.

How can surplus, waste and empty space become a source of free food? Kairos Free Store redistributes surplus food from cafes and eateries to those who need it.

Greening the Rubble will transform the Kairos shipping container with an edible landscape for more fresh free food.

Drop in for coffee and snacks to find out what it’s all about and see how you can pitch in.

FESTA 2018 is a public festival of architecture, design and food. Over the course of Labour Weekend workshops, talks, pop-up projects, family events, tours, live performance, artworks and more take place at various venues across the city.

Make sure you join us for our headline event, FEASTA!, a spectacular celebration of architecture, community and food, live for one night only on Saturday 20 October (rain date Sunday 21 October).
