The exciting world of Dichroic glass and fusing! Come and learn the basics of kiln fusing in this 3-hour introductory class. No experience is necessary and you will create your own pieces of wearable art!

You will gain an understanding of glass fusing, be introduced to the materials used in the creation of dichroic glass, practice your cutting skills, and learn 4 different techniques for making this wonderful light reflecting art!

You will have time to use what you have learned to make 2 pieces of your own. Once you have created your pieces in class, firing takes several hours, so your works of art will be ready for pick up the Monday following the class.

This is a 3 hour class. The fee includes personalized instruction, materials for 2 different pieces of art/jewelry, tools for use during class, as well as printed handouts with cutting grid. There will be additional materials for purchase if you wish to make more than two pieces during the class. Everyone works at their own pace and I will be available for an additional hour after class if anyone needs additional time or instruction.

*Lauri will stay until 4:30pm for additional tutoring and work time, if anyone needs the extra time.

If you love Dichroic glass and are mystified by this amazing material, please come and enjoy this fun, easy, and inspiring class!

Suitable for over 14 years.
