Sign Language is one of the three official languages in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is used daily by more than 20,000 Kiwis. Each May we are celebrating Sign Language Week in New Zealand. How much do we know and understand about the deaf culture?

We will be learning basic facts and skills on how to connect in a positive and joyful way with people who are unable to communicate by spoken languages.
