Every child and young person has a story. Sometimes it only takes one person to listen to a young person's story. To give them a chance by taking them seriously. To celebrate their wins with them when they achieve something beyond expectations. To consistently nudge them in the right direction.

Every child and young person has potential. Paths they walk down don't determine who they are. Young people are creative, loyal, and loving. They see and follow people in their communities. Every child and young person has hope. They know when something isn't right. They know when their family is not okay. But they have hope that things will be okay because they are powerful.

To celebrate the stories, potential, and hope of children and young people living in New Zealand. Three stationary bikes will be ridden on Wellington's Civic Square for five days to represent 6300 kids who are living in state care. One minute for every child and young person living in care.

If you're interested in helping out or joining in and are around town on November 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th at any stage of the day or night, come down and meet our friendly team who are all passionate about helping the stories, potential and hope of children and young people living in care to be realized, then come be a part of it!!!

The event is being hosted by youth advocate Mana Williams and co-hosted by the charity Voyce - Whakarongo Mai which is an advocacy service for young people living in care.
